If a single concentrator is under-performing or a cell fails, you can simply replace that individual unit in the field rather than having to replace an entire, more expensive, panel.  Furthermore, as higher efficiency cells become available, it is easy and cost-effective to upgrade the system in the field to generate even more energy.

 

Solergy also provides a web-based performance monitoring and diagnostics system that provides integrated remote management of its solar power plants. Site managers can track real-time performance, receive alarms, troubleshoot issues, and generate comprehensive reports on historical data.
